Everything works in 2x mode but when you go to 1x, many of the functions disappear. I never tried the keyboard equivs in 1x to see if they would work. The reason for 2x mode is because Toaster Paint uses a HAM image which can't display 768 x 480 all at once. The 1x mode tosses out every other pixel and scanline (hence many of the tools and functions have been crippled). I only rarely use ToasterPaint anymore and generally turn to DCTV Paint. Unfortunately, DCTV doesn't save IFF24 brushes so I must save off all my brush maps for Lightwave in ToasterPaint (which tends to mangle odd brush dimensions). %~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~% % ` ' Mark Thompson CONCURRENT COMPUTER % % --==* RADIANT *==-- mark@westford.ccur.com Principal Graphics % % ' Image ` ...!uunet!masscomp!mark Hardware Architect % % Productions (508)392-2480 (603)424-1829 & General Nuisance % % % ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
