Bad news, though. (A500). I ordered it one week ago and asked the following questions: Is it a 44 pin IDE drive, and not a 40 pin with separate power? ans: yes Is it 2.5 inch? ans: yes Too bad it is in fact a 40 pin IDE drive, 3.5 inches. I now have a 40 pin drive and a 44 pin controller, after previously having a 40 pin controller. One thing I do like about this drive; the power supply is the same as that used by the floppy drive as opposed to a scsi drive. I do have an external floppy temporarily, and would like to know: Can I somehow split the power for the internal floppy between the IDE drive and the floppy? (preferred) Can I mount the internal floppy externally from a separate power source? Can an external floppy boot anything off of df1:? Can an external floppy be mounted as df0:? 4 months and still no hard drive... -- David Tiberio SUNY Stony Brook 2-3481 AMIGA DDD-MEN Tomas Arce Any students from SUNY Oswego?
