I would really find it helpful for someone to point me to the best >and cheapest dealers in town. I can tell you one thing about every dealer in New Yok City...they are all crooks! Don't buy anything from them! Not even floppy disk labels! I bought my Amiga 500 NEAR NYC, but not actually in NYC, and they decided that I didn't need a warranty with my computer, so when I went to verify my warranty 1 week after purchasing my Amiga 500, they refused to admit I had ever bought the computer, event though I had a receipt! AWnd if you happen to go by Penn Station, and on the main floor you see a nice big electronics store that just so happens to sell Amigas, DON'T GO IN! It's Montgomery Grant! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! > >I'm particularly looking for an accelerator board ( maybe a GVP or Commodore ) >and some cheap games. > >Thanx > >pasquali@usage.csd.unsw.oz.au > >(Not for long though!) I suggest you check out some suburbs. There is a Go Amigo store in NorthPort, Long Island, which is about 30 minutes from NYC. You can take the train from NYC Penn Station to Jamaica, then switch to the Northport line. Ooops, it is called Amigo Business Computers, not Go Amigo. 192 Laurel Road, East Northport, NY phone:516-757-7334. It should be near the northern shores of Long Island. Also try Custom Computer Specialists, 1775 Express Drive North Hauppauge, NY phone:516-582-6699. I can't find it on my map, so I am not sure where it is. -- David Tiberio SUNY Stony Brook 2-3481 AMIGA DDD-MEN Tomas Arce Any students from SUNY Oswego?
