(*Am* I not doing something?) It may be that you are *doing* something, namely showing all files. Under 2.0, selecting Show All Files in the Window menu assigns default icons to files that don't have .info files. You can do just about anything with the default icons -- dragging, clean up -- but not snapshot. Check your Show setting for the window you tried to snapshot. If you have it set to Show All Files, set it to Show Only Icons. Then snapshot the window. This will verify that snapshot works as advertised. If you want to avoid this problem, you need to make .info files for those files without one. There are a few ways to do this -- copying an existing .info file to the newfile.info or using Icon Edit to bring in an existing file icon and doing a Save As newfile.info. There are other ways, but this will get you going in the right direction. Hope that helps.
