Keywords: fixfonts Message-ID: <1991Apr19.021606.11921@daimi.aau.dk> Date: 19 Apr 91 02:16:06 GMT Sender: pilgrim@daimi.aau.dk (Jakob G}rdsted) Organization: DAIMI: Computer Science Department, Aarhus University, Denmark Lines: 22 I want to edit fonts, fixedwidth as well as prop. When I use fed, that came on my Extras disk, and save the fonts, they get so garbled up that no program, not even fed itself, can load them in again. And, thats whethere I edit an existing or create a new one(so it seems) If I have understood this correctly, the following is the reason: Whenever changes to a font is made, the above save affects the in the directory named . But the file .font needs updating too. And this is where FixFonts comes in. I am sure I have seen it on ab20.larc nasagov., but it has dissappeared, probably in the tidying that happened a short while ago. It was just after the tidying, I found out what FixFonts was for(?). So, would some kind soul either tell where anonymous ftp might reach it, or uuencode and E-mail it to me ? I assume it is public domain.
