The command I use is: /etc/mount -o soft ultrix:/usr //apollo/ultrix where "ultrix" is the DEC machine and "apollo" is the Apollo system. The error I get is: mount: rpc error "authentication error" mount: nfsmount returned in error The "ultrix:/usr" partition is open to anyone to mount and in fact has been mounted by other systems. The same ultrix machine is also mounting the apollo:// with no problems, and the apollo is able to mount partitions off of other vendor systems. Please, can anyone help? Fred V. U.C.
