I have a version of uudecode, but it requires a shell that I don't have. How about one that will work off the desktop? I need this because I can download text at 9600 baud, through the campus IBM net and transfer them with the Mac's file exchange. Does anyone know how to successfully convert ms-dos binary to prodos binary with the file exchange? I have never managed it, the files are always corrupted in transit. (and yes, I'm sure I'm downloading correctly) -Bowie
