I have a 1040ste that like to boot up in low - res. Right now I run quickst 2.10 to have it start in medium res, but - when I go to gem from mint it comes up as low res, is ther a fix for - this?? Any help would be appreciated... This is a bug in TOS 1.06; TOS 1.62 fixes this minor bug as well as some other things, but TOS 1.62 is not available as an upgrade. Anyway, there is a program on the language disk called STE_FIX. Putting this in the AUTO folder will have your STe boot in medium res if the DESKTOP.INF is set for medium res. However, there is another way....
