I am having trouble getting our DS3100 and a Telebit T1000 to work
together.

I am a novice with Telebits. I can get the modem to dial out with tip,
but uucico fails completely when opening the generic dialer.

When I dial out with tip, the port is at 9600bps (in Systems and
Devices) and the modem will CONNECT with a 2400bps modem. I see the TD light 
go on with a return, but no RD and nothing echos to the DECterm.

Would someone who has successfully done this please send me some
pointers?
