Message-ID: <1991Apr18.011653.29945@ms.uky.edu> Date: 18 Apr 91 01:16:53 GMT Sender: beech@ms.uky.edu (Wayne Beech) Organization: University Of Kentucky, Dept. of Math Sciences Lines: 17 I have a hp2631a printer that i would like to connect to a standard rs232 port but unforunately do not have the information needed to make the cable. Currently the printer has a 12485-60006 edge type connector on it. Another problem is that this printer does not have a baud/parity option installed so i need to know what baud rate the printer runs at or if it uses some type of clock from the printer card in the cpu. If any one could send me information that will help me get the printer up or a diagram/chart that shows what the pins coming out the back of the printer are I would greatly appreciate it.
