We would like to design the survey such that it could be optically scanned to retrieve coded responses - much like an SAT test form or the census form. What exists to do this, how expensive is it, how difficult would it be to set up? Is there a possibility of using a hand scanner if the responses were concentrated in a 4 inch wide area going down the page? Thanks! Bill Gieske wg@alux2
