	I am a Software Engineer working on a research project which requires
timing output to 100 I/O ports every (say) 1000th of a second (maybe more)...
The development is taking place on an ALR PowerPro 486 with Microsoft C V6.0 ...

	I was wondering if anyone knew of routines in C that can time events
with this amount of accuracy (or better)?...If not in C, anywhere else?
