It is a disk caching program which does the same as ramdrive but does not have the problem of a cold boot. It will warn you and write the files before it allows you to reboot. Use QEMM 5.11 or greater and you have more control over all your memory. I am using a 386-33Mhz system. Also slowly (painfully ;-) trying to tweak the system for optimum performance. I recommend the above two programs. Use it and maybe you can get some of the power you were talking about. Also, the above will work with Windows and most other software. Even using compress from PC-TOOLs with the disk cache installed. Well, I hope the above helps. Regards, Michael
