Invalid Disk Change, Drive A: Message-ID: <1991Apr15.143419.553@husc3.harvard.edu> Date: 15 Apr 91 18:34:18 GMT Lines: 20 I keep on getting this error on my A: drive: Invalid disk change, Abort, Retry, Fail? I remember reading somewhere that it is caused by a bug in IBM's PC-DOS. Sometimes it doesn't register a disk change and it chokes when you change the disk in drive A: The only way that I can use drive A: again when this happens, is to restart the machine. Real irritating. Is there a bug fix out there somewhere to fix this thing? Or someway to get the machine to recognize the new disk, without restarting the machine? Please e-mail your messgaes and I will summarise a response for the net. Thanks. -- khoo@husc3.harvard.edu Lawrence Khoo Computer Consultant khoo@husc9.harvard.edu (617) 496-8992 Econ.
