The Gateway is actually an updated OEM version of the MAG Computronic that won last years PC Magazine review. It is sharp and flicker free. In 1024x768 I actually felt as if text under icons in windows was more readable than on the Sony, on which this text was extremely fine. For fine lines in Autocad, the Sony might be more suited. Peter
