This box outputs a 9600 baud feed that is pulled off a subcarrier associated with (I think) WTBS. You pay for the box (~$100-$130) and the access is free with other cable services. They also offer a plug-in module for the box that gives you access to additional data, but there is a monthly fee for this. The "free" service includes AP wire stories, stock quotes (updated 3 times daily and sent out periodically). along with other selected market infomation. Also there are weather, cultural, and other news feeds that are available. The enhanced service purportedly provides continuous stock quotes and access to additional news sources. Contact your local cable company for more information. -- Bruce Stephens bruce@hp-pcd.cv.hp.com
