Keywords: 4MB SIMMS memory Sender: vkamutzk@ccs.carleton.ca Organization: Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada Distribution: comp Date: Tue, 16 Apr 1991 21:00:43 GMT I have some 4MB SIMMs that I am trying to sell, but I was hoping that somebody could help me out with a little info first. I know that they are useable on the PS/2 70/75 memory expansion cards, but can they also be used on the motherboard? Recent magazine articles would lead me to believe that they can be inserted in a P75 motherboard (the portable), but what about the desk models? Or the new 90/95? Perhaps it would help if I included a small diagram: | _| |_______________________/\_______________________| ^- 72-edge connector ^- notch ^-notch There are 6 SMT chips arranged vertically on this side, with 4 SMT chips laid out horizontally on the other side. Any information you can provide me with would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to e-mail responses if you feel posting is inappropriate. Or if you want to purchase some of these babies, no reasonable offer will be laughed at...er...refused! :-) Thanks muchly, Victor Kamutzki <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> < VicTheRecptionist Kamutzki <> "If we do not succeed, then we > < vkamutzk@ccs.carleton.ca <> run the risk of failure." > < victor_kamutzki@carleton.ca <> - Dan Quayle > <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
