I love the machine and it more than meets my needs, now. But since I got a "bare bones" system (ie, 2 MB memory and a 40 meg hard drive), the first thing I had to do was upgrade the memory to 5 Meg. Then I had to get a Nu-bus adapter card to get the math co-processer since the IIsi does not come equipped with one. In contrast to the SE30, I have a 13 in. Hi-rez monitor so the screen is much larger than the standard Mac screen, in B&W mode, the IIsi is comparable in performance, but in 256 color mode, it is much slower. You All in all, I'm glad I got the IIsi rather than the SE30 I was looking at originally. Just be prepared to add the math co-processer and get at least 5 Megs of memory. *mikes* -- Michael Sweeney - via FidoNet node 1:125/777 UUCP: ...!uunet!hoptoad!fidogate!161!555!Michael.Sweeney INTERNET: Michael.Sweeney@f555.n161.z1.FIDONET.ORG
