I just noticed last night that when AfterDark kicks in over WhiteKnight 11.08 the "counter" displaying minutes/secs in WhiteKnight "pokes" through my screensaver. Also if I have the ControlPanel-->General running, the time/date areas poke through the screensaver also. Previously AfterDark always completly darkened the entire screen, now whether I am under MultiFinder, Finder with inits or very few inits this "peeking through" problem occurs. Also no matter which ADark module I pick, the "updated screen" area pokes through. I recently tried PrintAid cdev, which has been the only change to my system config recently. I thought maybe this cause the problem, but after disabling and removing the cdev, the "AfterDark poking" still occurs. I have also done the following: 1) ran disinfectant - no virus' 2) ran Norton DDocktor - no problem with my SCSI 30Mb HDrive 3) copied AfterDark off master disk - did not help! 4) Restored System, Finder, MultiFinder off backup - did not help! 5) Restored General cdev, and WhiteKnight - did not help! So basically I do not know what to check next? is my PRAM messed up? How can i reset or Zap my PRAM if so? Any/all advice needed thanks. ..................................... -=====- -=====- -=- John Exby (guest) -=- - grubin@tramp.Colorado.EDU -
