It knocks the socks off of stuffit (no flames please). It REALLY mashes files down. If you really don't want to buy Compact Pro, you can get the free extractor from anon FTP. The only place I positively rememeber seeing it was at sumex.standford.edu. in info-mac/util/?cptexpand.hqx?
