I believe using XFCNs would be the way to go. I have read the Claris documentation for creating XFCNs and implimented their simple Flash in Think C. But I still have questions on ways to get large data arrays in and out of XFCNs using Think C. Since the data coming in is in a big string format, how do I convert each item to floats or doubles? And, in reverse, after I have created an array in the XFCN, how do I convert it to get it into the returnValue string? Is there a book that convers advanced XCMD and XFCN programming in Think C? I heard that Bond's XCMDs for Hypercard is a good book, but WaldenSoftware here can't find it on their list... How do you get that book? Email or post as appropriate. thanks for the help...
