If you run the Router on the Mac it will produce 2 zones (EtherTalk + LocalTalk) which can be seen by everybody on the net. It does much the same than a Gatorbox BUT it runs in the background on your Mac which serves as gateway. Thus don't expect to do a lot of network transfers AND be a poweruser of your Mac. If you're only dealing with printing (as I do) it runs pretty fine with much less costs than a Gator or Kinetics.
