For the paper query, the replies I have suggest that there is no fixed upper limit, but result (and jamming) can be erratic with the heavier paper. Pat McGee, jpm@lanl.gov, stated that he had successfully run card stock through his printer to make up a batch of business cards, and this was the heaviest paper weight indicated by the respondees. Transparencies work fine, provided one uses transparencies designed for laser printers. If you use non-laser printer transparencies, expect possible meltdowns.
