I received the TUG Information Packet a few weeks ago. Perhaps, a
german TeX User reads this posting to let me know how to become
member of TUG (does my bank no anything about transaction into the U.S?).

Another problem. I am using a PD Version of TeX on my AMIGA with a HP
DeskJet 500. The printing result looks quite awful, because on some lines,
a pixel was left out. 
Is this a problem of the device driver (called DVIPrint) or a problem of
my Printer hardware?
