I am trying to contact David Fiedler, who writes the UNIX/bin column in BYTE.
He has given his email address as david@infopro, and also as infopro!david.

I get the message 
whois: host not known
when I try to check for his existence on the Internet (using the domain name 
addressing style), and the same message using the ! addressing style.

How do I convert between the two types of address? Also, does anyone know 
an email address for David Fiedler?
