Greetings!

	At work we are using at&t sysv ver 3.2.3.  We have the need to blank the screen during the login in prompt and under normal text usage.  I didn't see
anything on it in TFM... any clues?
	Also, on a non at&t box, I have had some other problems that maybe
ya'll no how to get around.  First vp/ix doesn't show up under open look, that
is when I start a dos window I see nothing but the cursor unless I explicitly
refresh the screen.  And finally, cu on the other box goes along fine and 
connects with any of my systems fine, but about 3s after it returns Connected
it returns "Carrier Lost."  This is while the modem is still chatting away with
the cd light on.  Note the lower case of Carrier Lost, doesn't this imply that
my problem is in the sw or its setup?
