You get a coupon for the Petzold book, which is good. If you want to avoid buying the SDK, the three books that come with the library are available from the microsoft press collection. The second book (Microsoft Windows Programmers's Reference) has all the calls documented and is the most useful. The first book is the Guide to Programming and is a general overview which you could avoid getting (IMHO) by getting the Petzold book. The third book describes how to use the tools that come with the SDK (icon editor, etc.) and is not necessary since the Whitewater toolkit and documentation comes with BC++. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Brian R Ricker gt2327c@prism.gatech.edu PO Box 24867 Ga Tech Stn | | Georgia Institute of Technology Atlanta,GA 30332 | -------------------------------------------------------------------------
