Unfortunately it did not work for me. I had some concerns about the morphine affecting me mentally and becoming addicted. It does not work that way. When injected in a muscle it has the narcotic effects associated with a painkiller. However injected intrathecally (the fluid surrounding the spinal cord) it has no narcotic properties but can and does relieve pain in many people. I would give it a try.
