Invented by an amputee, this ingenious lightweight device allows the prosthetic shaft and foot to be uncoupled just below the socket. This seems durable and well thought out. The manufacturer also has peg-leg footpiece that has interchangeable bottom pads, one for dry ground and another for ice and snow. This would be great for three track skiers, allowing them to remove everything but the socket which they could replace at the bottom of the hill. Check with your prosthetists.
