Is it beyond TK> the design stage yet? I ran into some video footage from a Variety TK> Club telethon that shows a similar cart put together for Lisa Olsen, TK> also a quad amputee that I can ship you if you haven't seen it. Tom, An organization, sponsored by General Dynamics and based in Fort Worth, Volunteers for Medical Engineering, Agreed to design and build the mobility cart for Jan over a year ago. As of this writing, they have held meeting without number, produced copious drawings, consumed gallons of coffee and congratulated each other on just how smart they are. And accomplished NOTHING! I am not considered qualified to take part in their efforts because, unlike them, I am not a graduate engineer. What it comes down to is that if this chair is to be built I or someone who is interested in helping Jan is going to have to build it. I have not seen the video you mention and I will be very grateful to see it and any other information you might have. Jan has had enough promises it's time she started seeing some results.
