There you have it, racism, sexism and deafism - all in the same
sentence.  Quite an accomplishment!  I think that summarizes NAD's
real concern quite well.  They seem to fear that cochlear implants
will enable a few deaf children to hear.  Hope this helps clarify
the issue for you.
