You need to find a VERY GOOD acupuncturist for this to work. A RN who has taken a quickie course won't do (nothing against RN's). The underlying concepts of acupuncture are quite divergent from Western medical thought. Try to find a good Oriental practitioner, or at least someone who has studied the field years, not months. I ran across a visiting Aussie gent who was quite well versed in the field, so resource persons are where you find 'em. Shop around. W. K. (Bill) Gorman
