HELP !!!   My grandmother used to make the most wonderful chicken and
dumplings. They were fattening but delicious. She was a Pennsylvania
Dutch woman who lived in Kentucky.  That sort of background really
influenced her cooking.  Does anyone out there have recipes for a
southern or dutch version on chicken and dumplings???

Also - blackberry cake and home made egg noodles. 

This is my first time replying to news. I'm not really a gourmet - as I
suspect many of you are.  I'm  not even a very good cook. I am a new
mother and I want my family to know some of the good stuff that I grew
up with.

One more recipe I would like to find - lima bean soup (great with
cornbread and butter milk!!!)
