I want to program gate arrays (pld/pla) using an ibm-xt. I would like to get the software really cheap; shareware ?, and build my own programmer for the pla/pld. I've seen some (at JDR electronics for about $800.00) but the price is too steep; I must purchase the PC too because I don't own one. Does anybody have any references that I can use to get up to speed. Again, I would really prefer to build my own hardware programmer if feasible, that is not too sophisticated; > 50 components, and not too expensive, > $200. Thankyou again, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I would like to take this time to thank the people who have answered my questions before with all kinds of good stuff. I appreciate and will continue to value all of your responses! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cedric A. Ramsey
