The depletion of the ozone layer has been scientifically documented, and the Arabian Gulf is full of dead animals. The skies over the recent warzone are blackened with oil fire smoke, which has been suggested as a possible cause of the recent ( and completly unexpected) heavy rains here in Southern California. We DO affect this planet, by virtue of the sheer numbers of us. Michael
