Message-ID: <564@kepler1.kepler.com> Date: 16 Apr 91 19:40:08 GMT Organization: Kepler Financial Mgmt., Setuket, NY Lines: 20 Does anyone know how long it takes to prepare the shuttle for re-entry? How long does it take to close and lock the cargo bay doors? When the landing during the last mission was delayed was the shuttle already in re-entry configuration and if so what is required to be done in order to remain in orbit? I seem to remember that the cargo bay doors are used as heat radiators to cool the shuttle how long can the shuttle remain in orbit with the doors closed ?
