I don't know if this helps but 2-3 years ago Addison-Wellesley released
a book-diskette combination produced under the auspices of the American
Society of Mathemeticians.  The program fits your description very well
except that it's not free--when I got it, it cost $15.       
   The name of the program? I'm not sure but I think it might have the
uninspired name Calculus.
