This is a handheld box about the size of a breakout box, that monitors RS232 and displays the traffic on a LCD display. It has an 8K buffer. I've used fancy full size data analyzers before, and have found them useful for tracking down all sorts of problem. Having a relatively low cost portable monitor sounds like a great idea. Has anyone tried the Bitview? Is there any competition?
