Subject: HELP need FORTH for 68HC11

I am doing development on the 68HC11 interfacing Intel's CAN network to
the 68HC11. I am currently using C and assembly the edit - compile - etc
takes too long. 

Any one that can point me the right way I sure would appreciate the
help.
