Hi,

      I am looking for a subroutine for computing the maximum front
       width for a given finite element mesh. This is to avoid 
       assigning an arbitrary value and keep modifying for each problem
        My finite element analysis program is written in FORTRAN 77 and
        employs the frontal method for solving the system equations.
         also I want to modify the frontal method subroutine with a 
        "skyline storage" of the current "front". Subroutines and/or
         relevent references are welcome.
