With the help of Marc Evans (evans@decvax.dec.com) 
perl 4.003 passes all tests on a decstation 2100 under ultrix 4.1 !

you need to do the following:
	1. add "optimize='-g'" in cflags.SH for 
		eval.c, teval.c, toke.c, ttoke.c

	2. add the following line to hints/ultrix_4
		"d_volatile=$undef"

	3. make sure that you define CASTNEGFLOAT
		and DOSUID (different from the defaults
			calculated from Configure when
			I ran it).

Marc mentioned that item (1) above isn't needed if you have
ultrix 4.2  because the compiler should be able to handle -O for
everything (lots of bug fixes in it).
