Recently, we have developed a new Global Router (single layer) in presence of retangular obstacles. We tried our new router on many examples using Magic (6.3) and got better results. We are looking for some more difficult examples which might have been encountered in theory or real Industrial IC Design to try our new router. If anybody has any information regarding this, please send it to the following mail address. If I find enough interest in the netland, I will post a summary of the responses. thanks in advance All the responses can be directed to the following email address.
