Who needs to write C code, just write a shell wrapper around
the "elm -c" command.

$ elm -c syd
Expands to: syd@dsi.com (Syd Weinstein)

Then just chop it using expr or sed to remove the stuff you don't
want, such as the Expands to: and the ( ) comment.
