Hi

I'm thinking of getting MINIX for a PC.
I had early version of MINIX for the XT.
Now I'd like the latest version, furthermore I have
a few questions before I get started.
I be glad to get answers from you out there on your experience.

1. Does MINIX run properly on all PC's 286,386,486 and how about
   the non IBM original ones, is there a list of computers
   that MINIX run on.

2. What version is out now.

3. Where can I get MINIX.

4. What programs are available such as elm,news,uucp,emacs,perl and so on.

5. Is there a FAQ list.

6. Is there patches to MINIX that I can update it with.

Thats all I can think of for now.
