I'm not totally sure, since I've got an ST, but take the try the last tty.
For example:

$ ls /dev/tty*
/dev/tty
/dev/tty0
/dev/tty1
/dev/tty2
$ kermit
C-Kermit, 4E(070) 29 Jan 88, Minix
Type ? for help

C-Kermit> set line /dev/tty2
Warning, read access to lock directory denied
C-Kermit> set speed 9600
/dev/tty2: 9600 baud
C-Kermit>
