It seems that if I lseek /dev/dosC with offsets <= 44135423 and then try to read a byte it works. If the offset is greater the read returns zero (end of file?). 44135423 == 0x2a173ff. Does anyone know what's going on here? BTW, its DOS 4.01 and the partition is ~120M. I'm running MINIX-386. Also, the linkage between FS and the disk driver for char special devices isn't clear at all to me. Any quick hints about where to look? Thank loads. -- Harry Varnis (612) 424-4888
