(2nd attempt, no replies to 1st post) Keywords: X.25 Message-ID: <1991Apr19.213545.6021@newross.Princeton.EDU> Date: 19 Apr 91 21:35:45 GMT Sender: news@newross.Princeton.EDU (USENET News System) Organization: Princeton University, Dept. of Computer Science Lines: 19 Originator: mg@elan.Princeton.EDU Hi! I am looking for a library to allow me to use X.25 communication from a PC, something in the style of "Asynch communication" packages that are widely available, but running X.25 protocol. I will be connected to a public network thru a synchronous modem (not thru a PAD), and I need to communicate with multiple users (that log into the network thru PADs). I was only able to find one package that seems to do something like this, and it costs $40000 (yes, forty thousands)... Please help me! I have got no reply from the net to my first post, I am unable to find any company who sells such software thru products listings, and it seems none of the large programming software suppliers carry such a product. I will seriously consider using another machine/os if this is availble on them. Thanks!! Michael Golan mg@princeton.edu
