There was an article in PC Tech Journal a few years ago that covered 1.1 and a small utility to do dual boot. It put a menu up on the screen and you hit one of two keys for the system to boot, with a 15 second timeout after which a 'preferred' system was booted. Also see a recent PC Magazine and a sophisticated utility called MBOOT.
