We have been getting the following error on a 200MByte swap drive in a
Sun Sparcstation 1+.  This is the only device on the bus.  The errors
occur on many blocks, but not all the time on any one block.  The drive
passes the analyze/compare test in format(8S), so it looks like the
drive only fails this way just after a seek.

  sd0b:   Error for command 'write'
  sd0b:   Error Level: Fatal
  sd0b:   Block 9504, Absolute Block: 9504
  sd0b:   Sense Key: Hardware Error
  sd0b:   Vendor 'MAXTOR' error code: 0x3

Any clues?
