Am I being stupid and missing something? I run a strongly modified version of tn3270 on DECstations including my own. I have various mappings, which are normally chosen as a function of the TERM value (but can be overridden with a KEYMAP name). Normally TERM is either xterm (if I run xterm) or vt300 (if I run a dxterm window). The function keys work fine except when the window manager is set up to grab them first!
